☔ Monday Morning Scene: “Step back! You’re gonna get trashed!”

It was a drizzly Monday morning.
I got off the bus and walked toward the terminal exit.
While waiting for the green light, I noticed puddles all along the street.
Just then, a green van sped by — splash! — muddy water flew everywhere.

In front of me stood a father and his three daughters, lined up neatly.
As the van approached, he called out in a low but urgent voice,

“Step back! You’re gonna get trashed!”

That one sentence caught my ear.
It was short, real, and full of life — exactly the kind of English we often miss in textbooks.

💬 English Expression of the Day

Step back!

Move back! / Watch out!

You’re gonna get trashed!

🌿 My Reflection

Sometimes, English isn’t learned from books or videos —
it’s learned in small, unexpected moments of everyday life.
That father’s quick shout reminded me that real English often appears right beside us,
in the rain, in the street, in the ordinary scenes of a Monday morning.
